What a fun and exciting weekend spent with 4 of our Magic Blades Teams in Oakville attending Synchro Capers 2018.
After a fun filled Friday night of games, door decorating and silliness our teams skated early Saturday morning.
Our Juvenile team started the day with a skate that was not quite what they were hoping for placing 13th and put them into the Silver Final.
The PreNovice team had a few technical errors that put them into 4th place and off to the Gold final.
The Beginner 1 took to the ice confident and ready to show off their Circus themed program. They skated their best to date with straight lines, wheels and blocks with huge smiles on their faces.
We are so proud of their wonderful skate and a Bronze assessment.

The Juvenile with a few missed technical calls finished in 4th place in the Silver final. This team continues to improve and hopes to put all their technical errors behind them heading into Provincials.

Last to skate on Saturday night for the Magic Blades was an excited Pre Novice team. The teams skated a great performance and missed a few technical calls still winning the Bronze medal in the Gold final. The team is working hard to be ready for Provincials on Feb 9th.

Sunday started early with the Pre Juvenile team skating their Mary Poppins themed program. They had a minor fall and managed to earn 3rd place in the first skate.
After a lunch break the team reassembled for their best skate of the season earning 4th in the final and a season's best score.

Each year the Synchro Capers competition allows all the teams to bond and have fun watching and supporting each other.
Congratulations on a weekend of great skating!
